AI health tech company Qure.ai has partnered with Bolton NHS Foundation Trust to deploy its COVID-19 monitoring software, the first collaboration in the U.K. The software interprets the progression of COVID-19 via chest X-rays, providing quantitative data in under a minute. This allows clinicians to classify patients into priority categories and monitor disease progression more effectively. Prashant Warier, CEO and cofounder of Qure.ai highlights the technology's capability to align clinical signs with radiological images, potentially enhancing patient treatment decisions. Although not replacing clinicians, the system offers another layer of valuable data to aid decision-making. Already used at 40 sites worldwide, this partnership presents Qure.ai with an opportunity to demonstrate its potential within the U.K.
